Our Favourite Online Resources

As writers our favourite hobby might just be looking up articles about writing. Reading tips and tricks by some of our favourite authors is the perfect procrastination. So, now that uni semester is over and it's all up to us to motivate our work, we thought we would share with you some of our favourite online resources on writing life.

Electric Lit

Electric Literature is a great wesbite for lit nerds. It's got essays galore discussing books and writers. There are great advice articles, personal essays about people's connections to great books, and conversation about how various authors have gone about dealing with sensitive subjects.

Electric Literature also open for submissions now and again, and seem like a great community to be a part of.

The website is invaluable. There are monthly updates on which publications and competitions are open for submissions (with a focus on those that pay), there is a blog with opinion pieces and tips, and even a way of getting involved in the community and finding beta readers.

Writers Bloc are here to help and it's great to have so many articles and resources coming from Australian writers.
