Frozen Strawberry and Passionfruit Daiquiri Daze

This is the ideal daiquiri recipe. The sweetness of the strawberries mixed with tangy layers of passionfruit creates an unreal flavour—perfect for a summer’s day.
Ingredients Serves 2 - or a large glass for one!
1 cup of strawberries, fresh
1 cup of strawberries, frozen
140 ml of white rum
45 ml of sugar syrup
80 ml of lime juice
2 tbsp of passionfruit pulp, fresh or in syrup
Methods
Prepare your desired glasses (a coupe works best and looks fancy!). We like creating a thin rim of salt on the glass to pair well with the sweetness of the daiquiri.
In a blender, combine fresh strawberries, frozen strawberries, rum and half of the sugar syrup.
Once combined, add half of the lime juice to the strawberry mixture. Blend.
Taste the mixture and add the remaining sugar syrup and lime juice to your liking.
Once the mixture is a slushy-like consistency with no strawberry chunks, fill the glass halfway with the daiquiri mixture.
Swirl one tbsp of the passionfruit pulp on top of the mixture. Fill the rest of the glass with daiquiri and swirl the other tbsp of passionfruit pulp through the top of the drink. You’ll have a gorgeous blend of pink and orange!
NOTES:
To create a salt rim, cut open a lime and rub the open edge along the outer rim of the glass. For optimal results, use a chilled glass. Prepare a small shallow bowl with your desired salt. This could be chili salt, orange salt, or a Himalayan pink salt! Roll the rim of the glass into the salt to achieve a perfect salted rim!
