Writing Art
‘It seems that art is all around us, so what does it mean to find ourselves in art? What does it mean to really notice this art, and where does the line demarcating art and non-art fall? How do artworks speak, and how does writing contribute to this eloquence?’
From art in the home, to street art and Instagram posts, Writing Art presents a variety of stories on how we interact with art, and how it interacts with us.
These creative non-fiction pieces explore how art connects us to deeper ideas about the self, the body, love, friendship, morality, and more. Writing Art is the sixth edition of the Bowen Street Press Review, a student literary journal produced in collaboration with RMIT University’s Creative Writing program.
