A cocktail born out of the prohibition era, the Last Word is for those who like their drink with a bite. Combining four ingredients that work in perfect unison with one another, the Last Word is simple yet packed full of punch. 

ingredients 

  • 30 ml gin 

  • 30 ml lime juice 30 ml maraschino 

  • 30 ml green chartreuse Crushed ice 

  • Optional: 30 ml sugar syrup 

  • Optional: slice of lemon or lime 

method 

  1. Pour gin, lime juice, maraschino and green chartreuse into a cocktail shaker. 

  2. Add crushed ice. 

  3. Shake it (don’t break it).  

  4. Strain over a coupe or cocktail glass. 

  5. Garnish with a slice of lemon or lime. 

RECIPE MAKES: 1 cocktail
